Men 4 Men – Clifford Armstead

Clifford Armstead, like many men, became aware of his cancer diagnosis through his wife pushing him to see a doctor when she noticed discharge coming from his chest. It was shocking enough being disagnosed with cancer at all, but breast cancer was other wordly. Mr. Armstead had unfortunately lost his mother to breast cancer, but never imagined he would aslo be diagnosed with the same disease.

The night before his surgery, Mr. Armstead was contacted by Rev. Ennette, starting a connection of support and understanding. The day of surgery, Mr. Armstead and his wife were met by Rev. Ennette and other men of the Men 4 Men Support Group who uplifted him in prayer and solidarity. This marked the beginning of Mr. Armstead’s mission to be an advocate for cancer awareness. Surviving breast cancer and currently fighting prostate cancer, Mr. Armstead continues to be a beacon of resilience and hope in the battle for health and awareness.
